Back to Camp

It was a nice sunny day at a movie set but it was not all sunny for one individual.
Maya was being lead down the street by her friend Alice, she wore the last fashion a purple short dress dashed with other colors. She and her friend walked slow but Maya was dragging her feet so her friend had to carry her along. Alice was consoling her, the date last night hadn’t gone well.
She was the actress everyone wanted to see and know about. Her parents had started her acting career early, ever since she was a child in the gardening kit commercial. She had paparazzi after her and even a creepy emo kid after her, that cut himself every time she turned him down. This was not enough, why had Brian not wanted her. Brian was the director’s son and they met on accident and he asked her out. They met on the set and went around the studio and stopped at a restaurant inside the studio. They talked for hours, when it was time to go and everyone in the place had gone, Brian tried to come on to her and she slapped him so hard, he just held his face and started crying and ran out of the building.
She was left alone to realize what she had just done. She tried to figure why she just didn’t  just push his hands away. She went out to find him, to apologize for what she had found but she found herself in a bed in bed room set. Thinking he would just try to come on to her again, she never went to go find him. The next morning Alice found her after a search had gone out for her after 8 hours had passed and she had not returned home.
Alice saw her pondering expression," you’re going to be alright."
"I’m not alright", Maya started," I wish I had never left the camp"
Alice sighed remembering that wonderful camp with lakes, strawberry patches, boys, friends and kisses. They had spent entire eight months at the camp.It was wonderful, because there were no paparazzi or sick emo kids there.
"We should go back," Alice said glancing briefly at the red sports car parked on the set sidewalk.
" That would be good," Maya said leaning on her friend’s shoulder. Alice helped Maya into the passenger’s seat and got in the driver’s seat.
"Now how are we going to get away, we don’t have enough money to get there," Maya asked.
Alice looked at her and smiled,"You do realize we are famous".
"You got a point there", Maya said as Alice started the car and it started to drive off.
"Promise me were never coming back here," Maya said.
" I assure you," Alice said clutching the wheel," we are never coming back!"
The two girls in the red sports car giggled and laughed as the car sped out of the film set and into the world, into the camp.
